Customers requesting to have SS 45 to allow them to reference the ASTM specification on their PO when ordering. SS 45 is becoming more common in use and purchasers would like to specify it from the current standard. This will allow ASTM to stay current and with the changes in the industry, as producers are already providing this material to customers. Through coil testing data was provided during ASTM Atlanta 2013 and re-visited at ASTM Jacksonville 2013. I welcome members feedback and comments.
