The ASTM D7342-07 consisted of two very different test methods to look at the stability of grease in the presence of water. When this method was put up for re-approval, negative votes were received which suggested that the standard should be split into two methods. This was discussed in G Committee and found to be persuasive and ratified by D02 Main. This work item is Procedure A converted to a standard alone stand. See also WK 44408 for Proc B changes.
