This task group is to review Part 23/CS-23 and other sources that relate to the requirements for crew interface (flight crew, maintenance and flight attendants) and determine what is the best way to fit them into the F44 standard structure. Crew interface requirements deal with information the crew needs to operate and maintain the airplane safely. This could include cockpit ergonomics, AFM, AMM, electronic display requirements, how to display information, etc. It does not include what needs to be provided. If it is determined that a separate standard is required for these requirements this task group will undertake to write that standard specification.
This standard is required to provide a consistent approach to information required by the crew operating and maintaining an airplane.
