ASTM WK43516

Revision of E648 - 10e1 Standard Test Method for Critical Radiant Flux of Floor-Covering Systems Using a Radiant Heat Energy Source

    (What is a Work Item?)

    Active Standard: E648 - 14a

Developed by Subcommittee: E05.22 | Committee E05 | Contact Staff Manager

    WK43516

    1. Rationale

The report section contains non-mandatory language. Section 14.1.5 allows reporting of individual values of critical radiant flux. The individual values are already being measured (to compute the average), so there is no additional work involved. The individual values should be reported for completeness, as they are in NFPA 253.
