Active Standard: D523 - 14
Three part revision to D523 along with the rationale for each change as follows: Change 1.) Section 6.2 Rationale for Change: In Table 1 there is a column header Relative Dimension. Text has been added to 6.2 to explain what the Relative Dimension is. Change 2.) Section 10.2 Rationale for Change: For applications that involved non-ideal samples like weathered panels, the two gloss unit range of acceptability is not achievable. A sentence has been added in 10.2 to accommodate these sample types. Change 3.) Figures 1 and 2 Rational for Change: In Figure 1 and Figure 2 the receptor field angles have been added to clarify their locations.
