ASTM WK42678

Revision of B117 - 11 Standard Practice for Operating Salt Spray (Fog) Apparatus

    (What is a Work Item?)

    Active Standard: B117 - 11

Developed by Subcommittee: G01.05 | Committee G01 | Contact Staff Manager

    WK42678

    1. Rationale

The terms Dominant Surface and Principal Direction of Flow are utilized in the standard and are not defined in the standard or elsewhere in ASTM documentation. These terms have been balloted previously and have been edited reflecting the results of those ballots for resubmittal. A concurrent ballot is being prepared for G85 since both terms are included in that standard and are utilized in the same way for the same purpose.
