    1. Scope

    This test method covers the determination of the relative resistance of pipeline coatings to impact by observing the effects of falling stones on coated pipe specimens.

    ASTM G13 was withdrawn in 2002 due to inactivity in D01.48. The test method is still used throughout the pipeline coating industry and is also reference in a UL specification.
