Closet Flanges which are used to join the water closets used in plumbing systems where the flanges telescope over the pipe or fittings were removed from the A888 standard because they were not suited for connection to the piping using hubless couplings. These flanges now need to be added as a table in A74. The table should include minimum and maximum inside diameters, minimum and maximum outside diameters of the flanges and minimum wall thickness of the fittings. The table should also include the length of the flange body, the diameter of the notched or slotted circle of the flange where the closet bolts connect to the flange and address the minimum opening requirements for offset flanges.
