    (What is a Work Item?)

Developed by Subcommittee: C16.40 | Committee C16 | Contact Staff Manager

    1. Scope

1.1 This guide covers the application of spray polyurethane foam as an insulation system to building envelope assemblies including: walls, ceilings, attics, floors, crawl spaces. This guide does not apply to spray foam used strictly as an air barrier system. 1.2 Design criteria associated with the installation of spray polyurethane foam are beyond the scope of this specification. 1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only. 1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.

There has long been a need for an application guide.
