1. Rationale
Ballot Item for F 15.45, F 2601 Candle Accessory Specification This ballot item is an addition to the flammability requirements to include shades and toppers to this standard. These two items could possibly be involved in fires from the heat of the flame of candles, therefore we are looking to add these requirements to our standard. The changes to the language from the current standard language is listed in red below.
