1. Rationale

ASTM F 2129 08 is up for reaffirmation or revision. It has been decided to revise the document with three changes: 1) a change to the reagents section to indicate chemicals for the adjustment of the pH of PBS solution; 2) an editorial change in 10.7.4 of the procedure to indicate that the test can be stopped above Er instead of Ef; and 3) an editorial change in 11.3.3 of the report.
