1. Scope
Floating pond skimmers come in many different sizes (including different orifices) designed to achieve different rates of draining sediment ponds. This standard will provide parameters and methodology for measuring the applicable flow rate of a floating pond skimmer.
No generally recognized practice/procedure exists to measure the size-specific flow rate of floating skimmers.
