WK41123 Revision of E662 - 13 Standard Test Method for Specific Optical Density of Smoke Generated by Solid Materials

1. Rationale

Many smoke chamber users need to test cables, and it is required by some military and transportation specifications. However, E662 contains no instructions for mounting cables as test specimens. This ballot would add a new section to describe the mounting method for cables, based on what labs are already doing, based on a procedure described in Defence Standard 02-711.
