1. Rationale

This ballot is a result of a persuasive negative on E05 Main committee ballot E05 (12-03), Item 7. The Subcommittee decided it would be appropriate to include a non-mandatory reference to CAN/ULC S102 from the Appendix of E84 that includes the scope of the referenced standard.
