1. Scope
Due to the friction created during the transfer, application and reclamation of powder coatings impact fusion can occur. This is the partial melting of the powder particles causing them to stick together and ultimately harden or fuse. This standard is to determine a process that compares the impact fusion characteristics of one powder coating to another.
