1. Scope
This guide is to be updated annually and shows the status of standards that have been or are being written for additive manufacturing in the area of materials and process. Finished standards are noted by the corresponding designation. Standards in progress are noted by the work item number. Standards without either a designation or work item number do not have a task group assembles and there is no current activity in F42.05 on that standard.
A roadmap describing the standards that are planned and underway for additive manufacturing is essential. This standard will allow anyone interested in materials and process standards for additive manufacturing direct access to all standards that are under developments as well as a guide to those standards that are approved.
