1. Rationale
The micrometer diameter stated in section 7.1 for use in this method is not a standard diameter, and the language in the first statement is unclear. Changing the section to allow the use of readily available micrometers, and clearly stating the specification of each type will make it easier for a first time user to get the necessary apparatus and comply with the test method.
