1. Rationale
The ASTM Form and Style Manual states: A7 Terminology A7.1 Every standard should include a section on terminology. The terminology standard, C 1232, is referenced in Scope Section 1.2 of C 410 and is included as a Referenced Document in Section 2. However, this does not meet the intent of the Form and Style Manual. This ballot item corrects that difference.
