1. Rationale
Add requirement for killed steels only. Rimmed steels, rimmed and capped steels, and semi-killed steels for structural applications are no longer used or commercially available to any significant extent. It is also recognized that these steelmaking practices are no longer consistent with new steel making technologies that have enhanced the performance of todays structural steels.
