1. Rationale
The Masonry Standards Joint Committee (MSJC) has renamed the Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures and Specifications for Masonry Structures [since the initial inclusion of these documents as references in E514], jointly published by TMS, ACI, and ASCE due to The Masonry Society taking the lead in development of these codified documents. The following modifications are consistent with the change of the names of the MSJC documents.
