1. Rationale

Several A01 specifications have included expanded wording in the footnote to the Chemical Requirements tables that describes the meaning of ellipses (. . .). That wording is: Note X: Where ellipses (. . .) appear in this table, there is no requirement and the element need neither be analyzed for nor reported. Some of the specifications that include such a note are A182, A213, A217, A312, A333, A336, A356, A376, A789, and A790. This action adds this language to the suggestion in 6.8.8.
