1. Rationale

This test is still valid and useful and used. It is my recommendation that it be reapproved with the editorial revision that the definition for rolling be deleted. It contains an error (wrong use of the wordrevolute) and there was much discussion at pervious terminology meetings as to whether G2 should define rolling since everybody knows what rolling is.
