1. Rationale
The current version of D75 is weak on guidance for sampling aggregates from stockpiles. The primary purpose of this ballot is to move stockpile sampling from the appendix to the text and give a more detailed procedure for sampling from stockpiles. Additionally, the section on sampling from transportation units is also being moved from the appendix to the text, thus eliminating Appendix X1. Appendices X2 and X3 will remain and be renumbered. Other revisions are being made for better guidance and/or clarification purposes.
