1. Rationale

It has been quite some time since D5237 was updated with current industry practices. Additionally, updates with the inclusion of HE washing machines is necessary. Revision topics to include, but not limited to: machine format, dosages, ballast, temperature profiles, grading format, statistical analysis, panelists, whiteness protocol, etc.
