1. Scope
Determination of total glycerols in not only finished B100, but also for mixed petroleum biofuels
The aim of this method is to provide an analytical tool that can determine total glycerols in not only finished B100, but also for mixed petroleum biofuels, for method optimization during the research phase, and for process monitoring during full-scale production. Parties that may have an interest in this analytical method include: Biodiesel producers: this method allows for both method optimization and monitoring (synthesis and washing methods), which is currently unavailable, and for final product release. Biodiesel distributors: this method can be used to confirm the quality of B100 and petroleum-mixed biodiesels.
Keywords
