1. Rationale
In response to an inquiry concerning whether Note G of Table 3, for F53, referred to the size of the bar from which parts were machined or to the size of the finished part, this item revises the strength values for F53 by providing two lines, as a function of size, and clarifying in revised Note G, that the size is at the time of heat treatment of the bar from which the part is machined.
