1. Rationale
A review of D3136 was undertaken for it to be reappoved, however it was deemed to need a revision. The standard was found have out-of-date laundering information that has been deleted and the latest table for laundering conditions from AATCC Home Laundering Conditions Monograph inserted. Other changes have been made to delete non-essential information and get the standard aligned with ASTM formating.
