1. Rationale
The implementation of Low Sulfur Diesel Fuels and the general changes within fuel industries and manufacturing processes has driven a change in cutter properties and availabilities. Three aspects of Standard D2027/D2027M-10 have been determined by Subcommittee D04.40 to need review/revision. The aspects will be balloted separately. This item is the final of the three: Updating the penetration values as allowed in superscript A of Table 1 Requirements. Surveys were conducted and input solicited to determine appropriate ranges based on current MC cutback data. Table 1, Superscript A displays the recommended penetration Min/Max values. This is the only section for review for this ballot item.
