1. Scope
This specification covers chlorinated poly (vinyl chloride) drainage systems for corrosive applications. Requirements for material, pipe, fittings, and solvent cement will also be included.
This specification will allow for the use of a proven material in a new application. It will be used in systems currently limited to costly metallic and special polymer materials. Once established as a standard, the system can then be adopted by all local, state, and federal agencies.
