1. Scope
This test method has been found applicable to the measurement of impurities found in cyclohexane. The impurities can be analyzed over a range of 1 to 400 mg/kg by this method, but may be applicable to a wider range.
D16 believes that effective carbon number will reduce the variability of results between laboratories and will reduce the work in laboratories. This standard will be used to determine the purity of cyclohexane for process control and specifications.
