1. Scope
Procedures for dynamic load verification for cyclic force amplitude control medical device test systems. Use of this practice is to assure the test system applied dynamic forces and readings are accurate.
Numerous committee members have stated concerns with highly variable medical device dynamic test results among labs, fixturing, and equipment. The practice is needed to provide procedures for dynamic load verification to validate test system accuracy regardless of equipment, fixturing, or location. The users would include device manufacturers, researchers, suppliers, and government agency.
