1. Rationale
The G-Force task group has determined that there is a need to clearly define how to calculate onset. Onset is currently undefined within the standard. By adding a clear definition of onset will help facilitate the proper use of calculating onset in an accepted method that allows for comparison against the published onset limits with the standard.
