1. Rationale
This ballot addresses two issues with Section 7.1.9. (1) This section requires chamber pressure to be monitored with a simple water manometer. There are many modern alternatives to water manometers. This ballot would revise Section 7.1.9 to allow for any suitable pressure sensor. It also adds the SI unit for pressure, kPA, in parentheses as required by the Blue Book. (2) The last sentence of this section describes a pressure relief system, which is not part of the pressure measurement system and should be in its own section. This ballot would create a new section 7.1.10 for that sentence.
