1. Rationale

Rationale: These changes in Tables 1 and 2 are made to be in correlation with the equivalent ASCE Standard. The ASCE Standards Committee on Direct Design of Buried Concrete Pipe and Box Sections made this change because it was felt that 100% Standard Proctor compaction is not achievable with Category III soil.
