This guide is intended to define the minimum training requirements for all search and rescue dog teams or crews. It does not list the training requirements for any particular Type, Kind, or Class of dog team or crew, as defined in F1848, Standard Classification for Search and Rescue Dog Teams. Individual training standards for additional search dog teams or crews will be developed in the future.
