1. Rationale
In section 8.1 of D3230, reference is made to . . . see Annex A1 of Test Methods D4928 . . .. In the current version of D4928 however, the method does not have an Annex section. Instead, based on the information in the Sampling and Test Specimens section of D4928, reference is made to Practice D5854 (Standard Practice for Mixing and Handling of Liquid Samples of Petroleum and Petroleum Products). Based on this information, the proposed revision identified for D3230 is to correct the error identified in 8.1 by removing reference to Annex A1 of Test Methods D4928.
