Ballot for Withdrawal of F1440-92(2008) Standard Practice for Cyclic Fatigue Testing of Metallic Stemmed Hip Arthroplasty Femoral Components Without Torsion. As ISO 7206-4:2010 Implants for surgery -- Partial and total hip joint prostheses -- Part 4: Determination of endurance properties and performance of stemmed femoral components was just approved and contains the most up to date hip fatigue testing information, the subcommittee agreed and recommended that ASTM F1440 be balloted for withdrawal.
