1. Scope
This test method covers the Atomic Absorption procedure to analyze and calculate the chrome content of Wet Blue on a moisture free basis.
Standard is needed to update analysis of the chrome content in wet blue due to the equipment can run the analysis. It will be used by the leather industry for those that do not wish to use D6656 or do not have the correct hood to use D5556.
