1. Rationale

The basis for the proposed note is that if FRC cylinders for compressive strength are made at the same time as the beam samples they shall be fabricated in the same manner. No known document currently exists which addresses this topic. A task group has been formed under C09.42 to create a standard practice for sampling and molding of FRC samples in general.
