1. Rationale
This standard is due for reapproval. However, several editorial changes are suggested to improve the clarity of the standard, bringing it more in line with other modified-bitumen product specifications. Note that section 4.3 has been moved to a new section 5.2 and the corresponding requirement was removed from Table 1 in order to emphasize that the back coating thickness test shall only be performed on a subset of the products covered by this specification.
