1. Scope
The purpose of this guide is to describe the specific application of the building enclosure commissioning process (BECx) described generically in ASHRAE Guideline 0-2005.
This standard is being developed with the support of NIBS and ASHRAE to convert NIBS Guideline 3 Building Enclosure Commissioning Process BECx to and ASTM Standard. The Standard will describe the process for commissioning a Building Enclosure to be used by any private or government entity who is constructing a building to describe the owners desired performance of the building enclosure and evaluate the end product.
