WK38819 Revision of D6782 - 05 Standard Test Methods for Standardization and Calibration of In-Line Dry Lumber Moisture Meters

1. Rationale

New text is proposed for D6782 for guidance on estimating the sensitivity of a meter to wet-spots in lumber. A new section 1.6 is proposed for the Scope, and a definition of wet-spots is also proposed for the Terminology section. Additionally, new text is included in section X8.6 which provides recommendations for various methods of estimating the sensitivity of a meter to wet-spots wet-spots in lumber.
