1. Rationale

D3603 is due for reapproval this year. This method has been reviewed for SI unit policy compliance and SI unit conversions were added to the drawings as the primary unit of measure. In cases where equivalent SI conversions are not known, figure notes were added accordingly. Section C.02 of Subcommittee C.0 agreed not to withdraw the method because the equipment for this test is still being utilized on a global basis. Objective is to complete any needed SI unit changes and ballot for approval.
