1. Scope
This test method will cover the geometric and equipment requirements for mobile instrument measurement of highway pavement marking materials. Initial precision and bias information is available from field measurements taken by international commercial, state and federal agencies.
This standard will formalize practice currently being used in the field and allow for greater confidence in interchangeability in measurement results taken throughout the world.
