1. Scope
This test method covers the determination of the sustained combustibility of pyrolysis fuels in the temperature range from 40 to 360C by an open-cup apparatus.
Pyrolysis Fuel by its nature does not work well with ASTM D93 and conventional flash point test methods due to the high water content. The intent is to refresence the new Sustained Combustability test method once approved in the ASTM D7544 Pyrolysis Fuel specification.
