1. Rationale

This project is to increase the range of pipe sizes in ASTM F894 .. to include 19.5 and add 132 and 138 pipe. In addition, it updates the Workmanship requirements of Clause 7.1 to recognize variations of ID greater than 3.2mm. The increase in acceptable variations from adjacent surfaces, is associated with alternate methods of production than those upon which the standard was originally based.
