This standard is being balloted for withdrawal with no replacement. Attendees of the June 2012 Subcommittee D02.10 meeting agreed that this standard must no longer be in use as the only extraction solvent specified is 1,1,1-trichloroethane. Use of this solvent has been banned now for a number of years.
