1. Rationale

This revision to ASTM D6878 adds a statement that requires the thickness over the scrim (reinforcing fabric) be at least 30% of the overall thickness of the sheet. The intent of this revision is to require thicker membranes to have more thickness on the weathering side of the sheet.
