1. Scope
This guide is intended to specify requirements for closed-circuit television (CCTV)systems and associated equipment in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or similar facilities. While the greatest use may be for Department of Defense facilities, the standard is intended to be able to be used in other similar applications.
This standard is needed to replace existing UFC/UFGS documents with consensus standards. It is anticipated that this standard would be adopted by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers once accepted. Although primary users may be DOD and U.S. Government agencies, the standard should be useful for other similar applications, as well.
