1. Rationale
This standard is overdue and must be reapproved before the end of the year to avoid automatic withdrawal by ASTM. The exposure cycles specified in Table X3.1, Cycles 2 and 7, will be corrected, as well as editorial and agreed upon technical changes, addressing persuasive negative votes from a prior ballot, will be included in this first ballot to expedite publication. In addition, a summary of changes will be included at the end of the document. Subsequent ballots will follow the publication after this initial ballot, and these will address pending items which have not been resolved from a prior ballot.
